5001 S Inca Dr., Englewood, Colorado 80120 (Major cross streets: Belleview and Santa Fe)

Go City Info: "Belleview Park is one of the largest parks in Englewood and is always a favorite with families. It offers pavilion rental, a miniature train (open summer only), horseshoe pits, and - just next door - Pirates Cove Aquatic Park .

The Children's Farm is here, too, featuring resident cows, pigs, goats, chickens, and sheep, among others. All barn animals are loaned from area farms and then returned to their owners at the end of summer. The farm also features Buttercup, a life-size fiberglass milking cow that provides kids with the opportunity to try to milk her. The farm is also open seasonally, from late May through Labor Day.

The shallow, meandering creek is perfect for dipping little toes; wading is ok when adults are present."

Pro's: 2 Playgrounds, one for younger kids, one for older kids. Huge covered picnic area. Playable creek. Lots of stuff in the area including Cornerstone Park just south, along with Pirate's Cove water park just west. Train and petting zoo.

Con's: Seasonally restricted to being a prime summer location. Not as much available in spring and fall. Parking is a rather abrupt turn off from the street.

My Rating:5 stars
